Will Smith Bungee Jumping

Will Smith made a giant jump in honor of his 50th birthday.

Smith bungee-jumped (heli-jumped) from a helicopter above the Grand Canyon in a video that was live on YouTube. The initial challenge came from Yes Theory. The actor remarked in a voice-over, “I’ve had a full career of feeling squished and squelched and governed by dread. Being afraid is the worst thing you can do.

Smith was accompanied by his entire family as he was ready to take flight, including wife Jada Pinkett Smith, daughter Willow Smith, and son Jaden Smith. Alfonso Ribeiro, who portrayed Carlton Banks in the television series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, conducted a pre-jump interview with the participant.

The Men in Black actor arrived with his family in a camper van, which had some sentimental meaning for him. Smith claimed that his family and him initially visited the Grand Canyon in the same kind of vehicle in 1976, but that his visit as a young child left him feeling afraid due to the height. When he was a child, fear, according to Smith, was always the main feeling.

In the weeks and months before to the spectacular jump, the 50-year-old had been filming the events. On Tuesday, he shared a picture of his family with the caption, “My Squad holding me down for my big 5-0.”

In a another video, Tom Cruise, the stunt helicopter pilot from Mission: Impossible, is heard asking Smith to call his friend for assistance.

In the video, bungee experts claim that Smith leapt 550 feet while being secured by 200 feet of active cord. As there is no firm ground, heli-jumping is one of the riskier varieties of bungee jumping.

The Grand Canyon’s weather has a significant impact on how well the leap goes. Wind speeds of 45 mph or more may make the leap impossible. Smith jokingly remarked that he would be really angry if he couldn’t jump after being informed of the probable weather factors.

Will talked freely about fear and overcoming it throughout the video. His son Jaden made light of the fact that his dad’s greatest phobia is “having a fear.” Fear itself is the only thing to be afraid of.

Willow said that she was anxious but that she wanted her dad to do what made him happy.

Before making the enormous leap, Smith was blessed by Navajo Medicine Man Jason Bitsuie and received direction and protection from the sun.

Smith need a medical okay before he leaped. He checked his blood pressure and oxygen saturation levels. He was informed by Dr. Ala Stanford, “You are on target.

I’m a little shaken, he said. However, the doctor assured him that it was “totally normal” and that if he wasn’t anxious, it would be worse.

“You are prepared for this situation on a mental, physical, and spiritual level. So simply savor the now.”

Although he was visibly nervous when he was strapped into the appropriate equipment and before the final inspection and take-off, he maintained his cheerful attitude. He screamed as he waited for the signal to leap, “NEVER LOOK DOWN!

Finally jumping, he soared above the Grand Canyon and said, “This is magnificent! This is amazing!”

He returned back to the ground and was embraced and loved by his family. He said to his family, “Nothing will ever be scarier than that.” “You will experience the most amazing happiness you have ever known as it transitions from absolutely utter dread to ecstasy. I own the entire Grand Canyon.”

Jada was being held by Smith’s ex-wife Sheree Zampino as he leaped, and the two of them remarked that they won’t ever have to tell Will anything again since he can handle everything on his own.

He added, “There’s a thought boiling in my head that fear is a cage and it confines you. “There’s something about the meeting with mortality that helps you live life more freely,” said my father, who passed away a little over a year ago.

He encapsulated his last ideas. “Life is challenging. You might sustain harm. Your heart may break, “said he. “But you must continue to commit… Don’t hold off; go.”

Celebrities such as LeBron James, Rev Run, DJ Khaled, Jimmy Kimmel, Eva Longoria, Michael Strahan, and others sent the I, Robot star amusing birthday greetings. On September 18, his wife Jada celebrated her birthday, but she told Ribeiro that due to her devoted spouse, “my life is my birthday.”
